Kathryn J. Nobrega is Senior Manager of Global Physical Security and Safety at Symantec headquarters in Mountain View, California, where she manages health, safety and environmental programs for the company's approximately 15,000 employees globally. She began her Symantec tenure in the United Kingdom, where she was responsible for health and safety in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. Symantec is the world's largest cybersecurity company.

Prior to joining Symantec, Kathryn consulted to multinational companies, governments, and non-profit organizations for over twenty years in industries ranging from oil and gas to biopharma. Her specialties include auditing, management systems design, training, and laboratory safety. Kathryn excels at translating HSE requirements into business processes that help improve workplace culture and performance.

Kathryn is a certified industrial hygienist. She holds a bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and an MBA from Boston University.
