Session 2 - Reporting is Transforming Environmental Enforcement: Become Data Driven to Turn Insights Into Action Jackson, Third Floor
EPA's Next Generation Compliance, a strategic framework to comply with environmental standards, advocates for e-reporting so serious polluters can be identified. One result of these changes is that public advocacy groups can easily identify and target facilities for violations. This session will feature a case study from California, where there has been a 260% increase in notices of intent to sue in just two years. It will also highlight strategies to leverage this framework and new level of transparency to a company's advantage.

Session 3 - Introducing an Ergonomics Tool to Minimize Risk Magazine, Third Floor
Fujifilm was seeking to implement technology to track, measure and improve their ergonomics initiatives. In order to achieve these goals, they turned to The Humantech System® in 2016. Since then, it has been initiated at 22 U.S. locations, enabling the company to share solutions to workplace challenges and develop an ergonomics standard. The company has seen significant improvements in its training progress, workplace assessments, job improvements, and risk reduction.

PVS Chemicals has been rapidly growing through acquisitions which added to their EHS responsibilities. In order to manage these tasks, it turned to Dakota ProActivity Suite for incident management, task management, and tracking of man hours worked. In this session, you'll hear how the program manager implemented the system, built site-specific compliance profiles and created a master task library. You'll also get a peek at the configurations the company made to the system, including the custom dashboard for its leadership, which was a key to its success.
